At Baker, Govern & Baker, Inc., we listen to our clients and work with them in devising a strategy to secure the greatest monetary recovery possible in the shortest amount of time. Different types of collection accounts require different collections strategies. Certain circumstances dictate that, to gain the fullest measure of relief possible, some course of legal action may be required to produce payment.
Baker, Govern & Baker, Inc. requires that all attorneys in our forwarding network be insured members of the General Bar or the American Lawyers Quarterly. As for creditors rights attorneys, lawyers, collection agencies, debt buyers, credit insurance companies and many others have preferred using attorneys recommended and bonded by these networks when the need arises to retain legal counsel. The legal networks are supported by industry leading insurance programs with coverage up to $2 million dollars for a loss by theft.
Compliance by these attorneys is monitored by our company’s Legal Forwarding team, which is responsible for coordinating suit and for procuring regular status reports. If your customer asserts an affirmative defense based upon an alleged dispute, or in fact, files a counter-claim, additional out-of-pocket expenses for depositions and defense of the counter-claim may be required. The may also be mediation and execution charges. All of these expenses are over and above the contingency fees charged. If a case goes to trial, it will normally be necessary for a client to furnish a witness with a personal knowledge of all the facts in regard to the case.
Baker, Govern & Baker, Inc. clients can request a no-obligation litigation quote on any claim that has been submitted for contingency collections. This request for such a quote in no way obligates your company to proceed with litigation. Legal action is only implemented when it is your desire to do so. Serving only your best interests is our success. For questions regarding attorney services, please email Debra Daugherty or call Legal Forwarding at 1 (800) 284-0100.
